Central Downtown Food Basket (CDFB), a 501 (c)(3) organization, reliably provides healthy and fresh groceries with Dignity and Respect to the food insecure at mobile sites throughout Sacramento. They do this by being hands on with their distribution. Some just want a hug or shake your hand, others need someone to listen. Their volunteers pay attention to those needs while giving them the food they require. CDFB also displays their produce in a unique manner, creating a farmers market environment.
