UnchARTed brought the Sacramento Youth Symphony to collaborate with LED artist, Christopher Schardt of LED Labs. Together, they created a mesmerizing and immersive art experience at Arden Fair for the community and beyond.
The music of Sacramento Youth Symphony was merged with Schardt’s world-renowned, Constellation, a 6-pointed LED canopy, near JCPenney. Visitors had the chance to slow down, sit back and enjoy the moment underneath the structure while gazing up at the lights as they synced to classical music.
Constellation was on view from May 29 – June 20, 2019, with a live performance by the Sacramento Youth Symphony on May 31, 2019.
Sacramento Youth Symphony
Founded in 1956 as a 55- member youth orchestra, the Sacramento Youth Symphony, under the artistic direction of Michael Neumann, now has a membership of more than 400 talented young musicians from all over the Sacramento Valley region.

To further promote Constellation and our audience reach, we had supplemental activations underneath the LED structure by Good Inc. and Afro Yoga.
